The first task today was to refurbish the oil cooler. I used a Dremel to cut off the captive nuts and olives on the oil cooler exit pipes. This is a delicate operation. Next, I cleaned and sanded down the oil cooler before using an etch primer and then black spray paint. I had previously had the hoses replated in zinc. I then fitted new nuts and olives to the exit pipes and tightened them on to the hoses to crimp the new olives to the pipes. |

Hi, can you advise as to where I can buy the new parts for oil cooler refurbishment, nuts, olives etc? Also, do know where I could get my hoses repaired? They are exactly like the ones picture here, one has sprung a leak at the engine end.
