Time to fit the electrical units to the 750.
First job was to make a bracket for the Dyna dual output coil, which replaces the 2 original single coils.
First step was to make a cardboard template to align the mounting holes with the holes for the coil and make sure there was room for everything on the frame. Then transpose it to a sheet of alloy and then cut and drill to fit.

Next job was to make templates for the Witt box and the regulator. I had decided the best place for them was on the front of the rear mudguard. The mudguard was marked in the appropriate places and then removed so I could drill it.
Then I mounted the electrical units before refitting the mudguard. The Witt box has 4 rubber mounts as standard, and I fitted the regulator t the mudguard with 2 more rubber mounts. They should be well insulated from vibration now.
I am pleased with the result.

Then I turned my attention to the Atlas. I have used it for trips to the post office, chromer and painter but the milk crate solution for storage was not pleasing to the eye. I priced up top boxes but too expensive and not in keeping with the style of the bike. So I did a bit of searching in the garage and found some rigid mounts for a pair of rigid Krauser panniers I have, still did not look right. Then I remembered I had a pair of throw over panniers and dug them out. Fitting was very easy and I think they look reasonably ok. They will at least offer some storage capacity on the bike. They will do for now until I have another think about it.
