Today was spent organising the wiring for the Witt ignition system on the 750.
This was possible as I received a parcel today with a new oil seal for the primary cover. So, first job was to fit the new seal and then the primary cover with a new gasket.
Then I fitted the optical trigger to the crankshaft and then the timing plate to the primary cover. Wiring was routed to the Witt control box under the seat and all connections made good.
I also fitted the HT leads and plugs caps, with new spark plugs, to the bike.
I won't start the full wiring work untiI I receive the fork stanchions back from being re-chromed. This is because I start with the connections in the headlamp shell and work backwards. As the current temporary forks and yokes have to be removed and replaced there is no point trying to mount the headlamp shell for the moment.
Tomorrow may be time to refit the exhaust system and rear brake cable.
