The weather here is atrocious and has been for a few days. However, there was a break in the rainfall so I whisked the Atlas out for a quick test after working on it. A mile out the weather closed in and me and the bike got drowned. Also found out my waterproof jacket is no longer waterproof. Good to know. Never needed it in Spain. Time to shell out on a new one. Ho hum.
Anyway, due to this dull weather, likely a sign of things to come, I decided the 3 strip lights I had fitted in the cave did not lift the gloom enough on a really dull day so I have now bought 3 more. Got one fitted before I ran out of conduit, so will start again tomorrow.
Got a parcel this afternoon with lots of polished, plated and chromed parts back from my chromer. I have yet to find a good recommendation for a chromer in the UK so I sent these parts to my chromer in Madrid as he knows my standards and is very reasonable.
Mainly parts for the Dax but a couple of sets of Jota bars and a couple of sets of shock parts.
I do love shiny!
