Also received back the alternator cover that had been sent away for laser welding to cover 2 drilled holes ad a series of deep scratches.

Then I started work to optimise braking on the 750. This involved removing the brake, covering the surface of the shoes in chalk, refitting the wheel and assembling the brake and testing the braking force.
Then dismantle the wheel again, see where the chalk was scuffed and file it down.
Then reassemble and test again.
Repeat the process until the braking force is acceptable. The rear wheel took 12 attempts (all the above process 12 times) before I was happy with it.
And I have to do the same to the front brake tomorrow. Deep joy.
