The metal shells got a couple of hours in the ultrasonic bath this morning, then dried off, heated and etch primed, then high build primer, then satin black. They were then heated again and left to dry.
Once ready I painted in the details.
After that I cleaned the buttons, switches and wiring and reassembled each side.
For safekeeping I then mounted them back on the bike.

Next task was to remove he airbox so I could route the wiring correctly and start to make sense of the connections.

In preparation for the fork stanchions arriving tomorrow I dug out the 750 from the garage as that needs forks and wiring finished too.
