I didn't do much in the garage today. Suffering another migraine, 3rd in 8 weeks.
Did some reparation work on the frame of a series 2 triple as it goes on Monday for frame repairs and straightening.
They wanted the engine back in the frame, swing arm on and rear wheel in place. This way the can check alignment in all axes.
I also drilled out the old steering lock as once it comes back from repairs it goes straight for painting.
I also took my project bike out for another shale down run. It has only around 200km on it since a complete restoration and I have to run the engine in as well as debug the newly built bike.
Today I saw the revcounter was revolving in it's holder so I will tighten/pack out the support bracket. The throttle is not returning quick enough so the revs hang up a bit making gear change a bit notchy. Again, an easy fix.
Anyway, it was a nice day and I had a pleasant 50km ride in around 20ºC temperature.
By the way I would like to repeat that if anyone has any questions about my posts or any Laverda-related questions in general you can contact me in 2 ways. Either click on the comments button (usually says 0 comments) or by using the Contact icon at the top of the page. I am happy to answer any such questions. If I don't know the answer I will try to find it.
I look forward to hearing from you.
