Well, I got the new bike table finished with 2 layers of 18mm plywood, will easily take 250kg of bike.
Also had electricians in fitting a new control box and sockets, still work in progress. Back Monday to sort out the lighting. The place will really start to function properly then.
Started stripping down the RGA engine. Looks neat and tidy inside but will have all the critical dimensions checked out before vapour blasting the engine parts. The bodywork has all been painted now, curing for a couple of days so I will collect it some time next week.
I also spent time on the green bike engine. Cases were vapour blasted and thoroughly washed, blown down and repeated to remove all traces of blast medium (ceramic beads). Today I started fitting all the require parts to the lower case (oil filter, camchain pedestal, neutral switch and frame studs. On the top case I fitted the breather assembly, through studs and oil cooler adaptors, with Dowty washers.
Next on the agenda will be selector mechanism, gear shafts and crank.
