Mixed bag today.
Last night my db killer for the new Atlas silencer arrived. As standard the sound was a bit fruity so I ordered a db killer from he company that supplied the silencer. All I had to do was take the silencer off, drill a small hole on the underside of the exit pipe, fit the db killer and reassemble.
Looks good and sounds better, sounded too hollow before.

Next job was to see what needed to be done to the pannier brackets to reinforce them and make it more rigid. After a bit of head scratching I devised a cunning plan. I want the system to still be able to fit the Corsa, so no changes that would not allow that.
In the end I decided each side needed one small bracket welded on, which will then be braced to the passenger footpeg mounting point. I will try to get them welded up tomorrow.

Finally, I worked on the rear brake system of the Jota as I was returning the linkages to standard. This is a really fiddly job as it is a tight fit between the inner rearset casting and the swing arm. In the end I got it fitted, but it took a long time.
