Finished of the wiring and tidied it up. The kit comes with everything needed except the cable ties. So completing it was straightforward.
Next I adjusted the timing for the new Hall effect triggers on the crank, and then Loctited the rotor in the correct position on the crank. After that the alternator windings were fitted and then the alternator rotor. Tightening up (and also loosening) the crank end nut was made really easy by using my new baby, a cordless rattle gun. Prior to this the crank had to be locked in position by draining the oil, removing the primary cover and using the special crank lock tool between clutch shaft and crankshaft on the left side of the engine.
Next step is to make final adjustments and service the bike.
